Vell Burr Holcombe began providing American craftsmanship and service by opening Holcombe Furniture and Undertaking. By 1934, V.B. was joined in the business by his sons Pierson, Vell and Richard Holcombe and continued the company under the name V.B. Holcombe and Sons.
